Introduction

The Christian Faith is not just a collection of moral and spiritual insights, but a Revelation of God based on His intervention into human history in the Person of Jesus Christ. God sent His Son into this world to be born, live, die and rise again. These are real historical events, and if they did not happen then Christianity is untrue and worthless, as the Apostle Paul said: “If Christ is not risen, your faith is futile (vain); and you are still in your sins!” (1Corinthians 15:17).

Therefore, Christ died and rose again at a specific TIME and PLACE. Since the Bible documents real history, we would expect it to give sufficient information to determine both WHEN and WHERE Christ died and rose again. Moreover, what the Bible tells us about these issues must be consistent with other recorded history, and what we find on the ground at these places. This then in turn confirms that the Bible is not myth, but historically accurate.

In my book: “Daniel’s 70 Weeks”, I established from Scripture and astronomy the exact DATE of Christ’s Death and Resurrection. In this book, I aim to show how the Bible clearly reveals the exact LOCATION of these events, and how well this fits the facts ‘on the ground.’ The result of this investigation, I trust, will be to bring these momentous events to life for you in a new way, as well as to confirm your faith that Christ is indeed RISEN from the DEAD!
