Our friendly OBC Ushers play an important role in our Sunday Services, with a wide range of responsibilities. From greeting all who arrive with a warm smile, to helping new visitors find their way, our Ushers are on hand to assist others in any way they can, making sure everyone in attendance feels welcome, comfortable and cared for.
In Services where Holy Communion is taken, our Communion Helpers are there to distribute the Communion elements to the congregation in a prompt, orderly manner, ensuring that everyone is able to share in the Lord’s Supper together. Some who serve in this ministry are also Ushers, while others function only in the Communion Helper role.
