Prayer, Praise and Spiritual Warfare

10 Powerful Prayers

10 POWERFUL PRAYERS

Prayer is fellowship with the Father, not a powerless religious form.

"The earnest (heart-felt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available - dynamic in its working. ' (James 5:16 AMP).   'This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us and if we know that He hears us - whatever we ask -we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him.' (1John 5:14,15)

The Bible is clear, when we pray according to the will of God, He hears us and sends the answer to our prayer.

So, the key to a successful prayer-life is praying God's will.

God's Will is His Word. So, we should be praying the Word.

What better way to do this than praying the prayers of the Bible?

These prayers are inspired by God and given to us to pray. They contain the very things He wants to do for us. When we pray these prayers we are praying God's Will and so He will always hear and answer them. Often we pray our problems. Instead pray the answers. Your answers are in the Word. PRAY THE WORD !

Take the following prayers and pray them for yourself, your family, and those around you. Pray believing and watch what your Heavenly Father will do! You will see results because you are praying God's will in His own words.

PRAYER 6- Habakkuk 3:2 - Prayer for Revival

PRAYER 7 - Prayers for your city and Jerusalem

'Seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have caried you into exile. Pray to the Lord for _____, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.' (Jeremiah 29:7)

'Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May they prosper who love you. Peace be within your walls, prosperity within your palaces' For the sake of my brothers and friends I will now say: 'Peace be within you.' (Psalm 122:6-8)

PRAYER 8 - 3John2 - Prayer for Prosperity and Health

'Beloved, I pray above all things that ___ prospers and is in health, even as ____ soul prospers.'

PRAYER 9 - Prayer for boldness to speak and witness.

'I pray for that utterance may be given to that may open his/her mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which ____is an ambassador-that ____may speak boldly as ___ought to speak.' (Ephesians6:19,20)

'Now Lord grant to Thy servant_____that with all boldness ____may speak Your word and that You would stretch out Your hand to heal and that signs and wonders may be done through the Name of Jesus.' (Acts 4:29,30)

PRAYER 10 - Matthew 6 - The Lord's Prayer

'Our Father Who art in heaven-Hallowed be Thy Name'

Start by PRAISING God, hallowing His Name (His character)

He is the Lord our Shepherd, Light, resurrection and Life, Healer, Saviour, Lord, Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Source of all life, Prince of Peace, He is our Righteousness, Life, Sanctification and Wisdom. He is Jehovah Jireh our Provider. He is our Victory. PRAISE Him for Who He is and THANK Him for what He has done.

Remember He is all these things to us through the blood of Jesus. This is how we enter His presence

'Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done-on earth as it is in heaven.'

Pray this first for your own life, then your family, then the church and then the nation. God's Kingdom is His blessing, power, joy, peace, love and this comes as His will is known and done. At this time we dedicate to do God's will and ask for God's life and blessing to fill our lives.

'Give us this day our daily bread.'

Ask and believe you receive (Mark 11:24) whatever you need for yourself today (healing, wisdom, strength, opportunities...)

'Forgive us our sins'  (1John 1:9)

'As we forgive those who sin against us'

This is important otherwise we cut ourselves off from God's grace and the answers to our prayers. At this point we determine to get on with everyone all the time and walk in automatic forgiveness in the coming day.

'Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from the evil-one'.

Now we claim God's protection over our lives. Bind in Jesus Name any evil power from working against you,and forbid it from operating in your presence. 'No weapon formed against you shall prosper.' Let the Lord be a SHIELD and hedge of protection around you. (Psalm 91)

'For Thine is the Kingdom, the power and the glory- forever and ever. Amen'

Finish with praise, realise the things you have prayed are now in God's hands so don't worry about them. Just praise Him that His power is a work and give Him all the glory for the answers. Your prayers open the door for God to work but what is acheived is by God's power and grace, not your power or effort or righteousness. Your prayer just moves you into a place where your faith is actively trusting God to move thus enabling you to be a channel. It is His Kingdom and power flowing not yours, so He must get all the glory.

A Prayer

Father, I ask you to bless my friends right now.

I am asking You to minister to their spirit at this very moment.

Where there is pain, give them Your peace and mercy.

Where there is self doubting, release a renewed confidence in Your ability to work through them.

Where there is tiredness, or exhaustion, I ask You to give them understanding,

patience, and strength as they learn submission to yourleading.

Where there is spiritual stagnation, I ask You to renew themby revealing Your nearness, and by drawing them into greater intimacy with You.

Where there is fear, reveal Your love, and release to themYour courage.

Where there is a sin blocking them, reveal it, and break its hold over my friend's life.

Bless their finances, give them greater vision, and raise up leaders, and friends to support, and encourage them. Give each of them discernment to recognize the evil forces around them, and reveal to them the power they have in You to defeat it.

I ask You to do these things in Jesus' name.
